The way you speak to your audience as a strategy.

Recommended Posts

As mentioned elsewhere, the age of social media has put message forum management in jeopardy.

Because of how harder it is to run a successful message forum in the social world, integrating psychology into forum management might be the way to the winning ticket.

Look at sales, ads and business marketing - the marketer will speak a certain way to the target customer in hopes to sway that customer into purchasing the product or service being marketed.

Do you feel the same approach should be taken with forums? We admins (the marketer) should be speaking in sense a certain way to the members (the consumers/customers) to sway them to stick around and enjoy visiting. Should we change the way we act and speak if you will in hopes that it will assist our marketing strategies?

How do you all feel about this?
