Have you ever tried Custom ROM's. How was your experience using them. I used a custom ROM for my Nokia 603 phone and it was very smooth and nice.

I know people who change their ROM every now and then. As long as it doesn't go bad, nothing to complain.

Installing ROM is like installing Operating System in PC right? So when we keep doing that we will damage our storage or phone right?

In a normal scenario, it should not ruin anything. But there is always a risk involved.

It is always choose a stable custom ROM and get settled with it. Instead of changing ROM at regular interval.

Tried it couple of years ago on a samsung galaxy s6 edge when i couldnt get the latest android version on that phone. Did download the official ROM from samsung and installed, worked fine as i can remember, but its allways a risk when your phone is not compitable with that software to begin with Tongue

I always root my phones and install a pretty user-friendly and privacy protecting ROMs myself. Always seems to work out well, as long as I know what I am doing.

What is the ROM you are using now? And does custom ROM really provide privacy protection?
